Even myself was for years working with people on my karma and so on. At some point it felt like going to a haircut dresser, pls remove this and that today and it is not long-lasting. This year I stopped everything, I sit in silence feeling the breath going through my body and observing how my ego is dissolving. It is time for new people to stand up. Interestingly enough people telling all this background cannot believe. Every souls has its own way and mission, we need to respect although it feels sometimes hard but that is the ego helper syndrome because at the end everything is unconditional love.
